My Dad and I deer hunt on our small family farm in Northeastern Ohio. We are very fortunate to have about 30 acres which is partially wooded and the remainder in farm ground. For the past few years we hunted out of ladder stands and out of an elevated deer blind which my Dad built. He refers to it foundly as the "Hootch." We often "race" to the woods to see who gets the comfort of the Hootch as it is in a great spot and is very comfortable compared to a regular ladder stand. Since Dad is retired, he almost always wins the race. I decided that if you can't beat 'em, join 'em and built the "Deer Condo".
